Version 3.0 released on September 20, 2015

What's New in Version 3.0:

1. Added "No Sounds" option so Pop-ups can be displayed without playing any sounds. This could be useful for Windows 10 users where Notifications have their own sounds and they don't want to mute their System Notifications.

2. Fixed bug where program will spam Notifications when laptop has no battery connected.

Version 2.0 released on August 24, 2015

What's New in Version 2.0:

1. Added option to customize Alarm sound (WAV files only for now). Please note that you should only use WAV files with short durations, preferably only a couple of seconds since there is no way to stop playing long songs at the moment.

2. Added "Toggle Shut Up" right-click context menu option to the Taskbar icon.

2. Fixed bug where alarm will sometimes keep beeping at 100% battery level even while unplugged.

3. Fixed grammar on notification messages.

4. Updated Battery Icon.

Version 1.0 released on February 14, 2015

Here's a little program I wrote for personal use to monitor my laptop's battery level.

I kept searching the internet for a program that can help me maintain the "proper" Lithium Ion Battery power level of 40-80% to prolong battery life, but only found battery alarms that only notify of one percentage while the laptop is unplugged.

How to use the program:

You can set the program to notify you at certain battery levels when your laptop is either charging, not charging, or both. The program will play the standard Windows Notification sound effect (customizable with the "Browse:" button) and show a Pop-up Notification that tells you when you should plug or unplug your charger.

You can also check the "Notify On Full Charge" checkbox so your laptop doesn't overcharge when it reaches 100%.

The "Run on StartUp" option is highly recommended so you don't have to execute the app every time you turn on your PC.

Also, since the Notifications and Sound Effects are non-stop once your power level is like so:
Battery Level <= Not Charging
Battery Level >= While Charging
You can check the "Do Nothing" checkbox and click "Save Changes" to stop all notifications from appearing until you either find a charger or unplug your laptop.

If you only want to be notified when your laptop is fully charged, just set both textboxes to 0.

Also, you can right-click on the Taskbar icon for four options:
1. Show -- shows the main window.
2. Do Nothing -- toggles notifications without having to show the main window.
3. No Sounds -- toggles sounds when showing notifications.
4. Exit -- exits the program.

If you wish to uninstall the app you can easily find it in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.

Hope this helps, and Happy Valentine's Day everybody!
